This award will support four scholarships to underrepresented minority medical students through the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation Scholarship program.  The scholarship recipients are primarily economically disadvantaged second and third year medical students who come from, and often return to serve, communities most in need of quality medical care. The support helps the students to alleviate some of the financial barriers associated with completing their medical education.
